On December 9th we talked to Marcus Bridge and Jonathon Deiley from „Northlane“ in Nuremberg.

During Northlanes ongoing European Tour they took their time to talk about their surprising release of their latest album „Mesmer“ this year and why they actually decided to publish it just that uncommon way. Besides, the guys told us how „Mesmer“ came to be a lot more personal and full of intense emotions. We also asked them a few questions about their older EP „Equinox“, which focuses on various important issues, regarding the world socially, politically and environmentally and on which they worked on with the band „In Hearts Awake“. Considering their attitude of altruism, we wanted to know Marcus's and Jon's opinion on the strict refugee policy of Australia, their home country. Also, they explained, if and how they include feedback from their fans into their work.
